Dr. Kellie Bedoni PT, DPT, MS, OCS
Physical Therapist Specializing in the Female Athlete, Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism and Board Certified in Orthopedics
Kellie began her physical therapy career specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine after graduating from Northeastern University in 1998.
Physical therapy is her passion; over her career she has helped countless patients heal while also giving them the tools to help themselves. Of particular interest came the female athlete. Female athletes, postpartum female athletes in particular, have a different mindset and were often not given enough guidance to continue their lives at the level they were accustomed. “Listen to your body” is not enough and can become frustrating after a major life event like pregnancy and birth as well as an injury.
Kellie began collaborating with KFITBody in Hingham, an all female gym, to bring the latest and most advanced care for females. By combining her experience in orthopedics and expertise in the female athlete, she is able to bridge the gap from pregnancy to return to exercise safely . Her goal is to educate and empower women to help them succeed in pursuing an athletic lifestyle after baby. By providing a personalized evaluation and treatment program, she is able to help women achieve their goals in higher intensity exercise.
By having this 1:1 time with her clients, Kellie is able to work on the entire body and find issues before they happen or perform “prehab.”
Kellie graduated as a Triple Husky from Northeastern University, earning her Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees in Physical Therapy and she currently is a part-time professor at NU. Having been an avid athlete playing multiple sports and collegiate rugby, Kellie knows the mindset of the female athlete and wants to keep you working out the safest way possible
